Version 2026-07-v1 · Effective July 12, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Wellness World Wide Web Data API (the "API"), including all data returned by it. By creating an API key, or by accessing the API in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. Your acceptance is recorded at the time your API key is issued.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an API key or use the API.
The API provides programmatic, read-only access to nutrition and microbiota data curated by Wellness World Wide Web. The API is currently offered in beta: endpoints, response formats, data coverage, and limits may change as the service matures. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate breaking changes in advance, but during the beta period we may modify or discontinue features at any time.
Each account is issued a single API key. You are responsible for keeping your key confidential and for all activity that occurs under it. If you believe your key has been compromised, delete it from your account page and issue a new one. We may suspend keys that show signs of abuse, unauthorized sharing, or activity that degrades the service for others.
We track requests to ensure the API is accessible for everyone. The free tier includes 5,000 requests per calendar month; requests beyond your tier’s allowance will be rejected with a limit rate response, and will be billed according to the published pricing tiers and agreed API billing rates. You agree not to circumvent metering, rate limits, or access controls, including by creating multiple accounts to multiply free allowances.
Our data is verified carefully by our review team of automated agents and human reviewers before it is published. This review process is designed to prevent data inaccuracies. However, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy, completeness, or currency of the data served by the API, due to the possibility of discrepancies between the various sources consulted in compiling it.
You are solely responsible for evaluating the data’s fitness for your intended use and for independently verifying any data point before relying on it in any context where accuracy is critical. We may correct, update, or remove data at any time without notice.
The data provided through the API is for informational and research purposes only. It is not medical, dietary, or health advice, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. The Wellness World Wide Web does not provide diagnosis of medical issues, medical opinions, treatment plans, or any similar clinical matters. You agree not to present data obtained from the API to end users as medical advice attributable to Wellness World Wide Web.
The API and all data provided through it are supplied "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted and error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wellness World Wide Web and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use the API or its data — including any claim arising from inaccuracies or omissions in the data — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the API exceed the amounts you paid us for API access in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ten U.S. dollars ($10) if you have paid nothing.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Each revision carries a new version identifier; the version you accepted is recorded with your account. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify active API users, such as by email or a notice on this site. Continued use of the API after a revision becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the API and delete your key at any time from your account page. We may suspend or revoke keys, or terminate access, for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that harms the service or other users. Sections 5 through 8 survive any termination.
Questions about these Terms or the API can be directed to us through the contact options on the main site at www.wellnessworldwideweb.com.
